VANCOUVER, WA | July 7, 2020 — ConMet has announced a partnership with OptiCat to securely distribute PIES™ (Product Information Exchange Standard) data to channel partners to be used on their e-commerce platforms. This is one more step in ConMet’s digital strategy towards expanding its sales and marketing resources to enhance customer support.
ConMet currently has data available within OptiCat for more than 450 aftermarket parts, including hubs, rotors, drums, kits, and components. The data conforms to industry standards and provides detailed information on attributes including unique product images, Vehicle Maintenance Reporting Standards (VMRS) codes, Global Trade Item Numbers (GTINs), product dimensions, and more. ConMet channel partners will be able to access the database after they complete the simple registration process on the OptiCat website, and once in the system, users will be able to customize the data format they need to fulfill their individual e-commerce platform requirements.
